The linear transducer, photoelectric sensor Q4XFKLAF310-Q8, 3097341 from Turck Banner, is a laser distance sensor operating on the triangulation principle, designed for precise detection within the 35…310 mm range. It uses 655 nm red light (laser class 1) and works with background or foreground suppression, offering an optical resolution of 1 mm and a repeatability of 0.5 mm.
It integrates two PNP outputs configurable in NO/NC mode, and supports IO-Link communication (V1.1, COM 2, 38.4 kBaud) with a 16-bit process data width. Output 2 is also programmable as a frequency output. The sensor includes a 4-digit LED display, 3 configuration buttons, and a yellow status indicator.
