Laser diffuse reflection photoelectric sensors for detecting small objects or when the beam passes through an opening. Industry features numerous processes where it is important not only to detect the presence of an object, but also its relative position or distance from the machine on the conveyor belt. Controlling object separation or overlap on the conveyor belt can also be crucial for subsequent process steps (e.g., packaging). To perform these operations with a single sensor, it must provide the machine’s control system with both switching and measuring information. We have achieved this goal by developing the new ODT 3C.
The ODT 3C is both a measuring and switching sensor. This makes it ideal for applications that involve both detection and measurement operations. This means our customers can now perform both operations conveniently and effectively with a single sensor.
