The AMS 107i 120 Leuze optical laser positioning systems calculate distances to moving plant components contact-free, quickly, and with absolute precision.

Within milliseconds, the laser distance measurement system provides position values for dynamic adjustments with millimeter precision, via a selection of Industrial Ethernet and fieldbus interfaces. With these sensors, distances up to 300 m can be calculated with extreme precision thanks to the use of the latest signal processors. Numerous integrated functions allow diagnostic data and critical situations to be detected and visualized. Repeatability is 1 mm, with absolute measurement accuracy controlled from ±2 mm to ±5 mm.

For PROFINET and PROFIBUS variants, a parallel SSI interface is available to provide position data directly to the frequency converter.
