The HT5B/4X-M8 is a diffuse reflection photoelectric sensor with background suppression from the Leuze 5B Series, designed for applications where precision, reliability, and compactness are essential. Thanks to its red LED technology (645 nm) and fixed focus at 200 mm, the sensor can effectively detect objects of different colors and materials, even in the presence of reflective backgrounds or dark and semi-transparent objects.
The integrated background suppression allows the photoelectric sensor to distinguish the object from its surroundings, reducing switching errors and making it ideal for use on automated lines, conveyors, packaging systems, and material handling. The black-white error of less than 15% up to 200 mm ensures stable detection even with high contrast variations.
