These devices detect the surrounding environment by means of a rapidly rotating laser measurement beam. This allows for the detection of objects at great distances. With an opening angle of 190° and a measurement distance of up to 65 m, the laser scanner is capable of monitoring an entire hectare of surface area. Object recognition occurs simultaneously on up to 4 detection fields. The convenient RODsoft configuration software allows for the parameterization of 8 detection field pairs and 4 detection fields. Status indication is provided via a serial interface and an optional warning output. In the event of service, the device can be replaced in a flash and is immediately operational again thanks to the ConfigPlug configuration memory.
