Thanks to configurable protection and warning fields, safety laser scanners can be used in many different ways to protect hazardous areas and access points. Due to their compact design, they are suitable for both fixed and mobile applications. Our RSL 400 safety laser scanners are characterized by high performance, robustness, and ease of use. Thanks to their high range of 8.25 m and an angular range of 270°, even large areas can be monitored. The series also includes models for integration via PROFIsafe/PROFINET interface and models with data output for the navigation of automated guided vehicle systems.
In addition to the features of the RSL 400 family, the RSL 425, 445, and 455P variants also feature high-quality measured value output for AGV navigation. The high data quality and reduced measurement error are achieved thanks to the thin laser spot that maintains its perpendicular shape throughout the entire angular range.
