The MLC530R30-750 safety light curtain receiver from Leuze, part of the MLC 500 series, is a fundamental component of an active optoelectronic safety system designed for hand protection, typical in industrial applications where maximum reliability is required. When combined with the transmitter, it forms a robust and precise photoelectric barrier, insensitive to normal ambient light and protected against overvoltage and overcurrent according to IEC/EN 60204-1 (protection class 3).
This model includes two BT-NC sliding brackets and features the Smart Process Gating function package, which allows for the protection of openings without the need for additional sensors. Advanced functionalities include qualified stop, fixed blanking (with and without tolerance), start/restart interlock (RES), transmission channel switching, and configuration via wiring.
Integration is facilitated by compatibility with both contact safety circuits and electronic outputs, as well as the MaxiScan function, which expands application possibilities. Furthermore, the system supports muting timeout extension, ensuring greater flexibility even in complex production cycles.
