The ELC110R30-900 safety light curtain receiver by Leuze, from the ELC 100 series, is an active optoelectronic device designed for the reliable protection of hands and danger zones in industrial applications. Each system consists of a transmitter and a receiver, both protected against overvoltage and overcurrent according to the IEC/EN 60204-1 standard (protection class 3), and immune to normal ambient light.
This Type 4 version according to IEC/EN 61496 guarantees the highest level of safety, with a SIL 3 classification and Performance Level e, Category 4, according to EN ISO 13849. The 30 mm resolution and a protective field height of 1,200 mm make it ideal for hand protection applications where high detection precision is required.
The response time of only 9.5 ms ensures rapid intervention, while the connection is made via a robust cable with a metal M12 circular connector (4-pin, 200 mm, PUR), for increased durability even in harsh industrial environments. The compact dimensions (34.7 x 1,215 x 39.3 mm) facilitate integration even in tight spaces. An efficient solution compliant with the highest safety standards.
