The BCM R16E-004-CI01-01,5-S4 (code BCM0004) is an intelligent sensor for condition monitoring from Balluff, designed for continuous monitoring of vibrations and temperature in industrial automation applications.
Thanks to the combination of dynamic and thermal measurements, the device allows for the collection of useful information on the operational status of motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other mechanical components subject to wear.
The sensor integrates a 3-axis vibration measurement system with a measuring range up to ±16 g and frequency monitoring up to 6000 Hz, in addition to contact temperature detection in the range of -40…+80 °C.
Communication via IO-Link 1.1.3 enables integration into automation systems and structured data collection for predictive maintenance activities and operational condition analysis.
The 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel housing and IP67, IP68, and IP69K protection ratings make the device suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
The connection via cable with M12 connector and the operating temperature of -40…+80 °C support its use in numerous application contexts.
