The BCS D30T401-PSC15C-EP02 capacitive sensor from Balluff is designed to ensure reliable detection in a wide range of industrial applications. With an adjustable measuring range from 2 to 15 mm, it offers precise switching with high repeatability (≤2% of Sr) and contained hysteresis. The integrated electronics provide protection against reverse polarity, short circuits, and conductor swapping, while the IP67 protection rating allows use even in harsh environments, with operating temperatures from -30 °C to +70 °C.

Constructed with a stainless steel housing, PTFE active surface, and PUR casing, it combines robustness with chemical resistance. The PNP normally open contact output ensures a reliable interface with automation systems, while the adjustable potentiometer allows for quick and flexible configuration. With a switching frequency of up to 100 Hz and a long service life (MTTF 230 years at 40 °C), it represents a solid and durable solution for applications where precision and signal stability are essential.
