The BCW F03EA85-XXSFNC-EP00-3-GZ01 capacitive sensor from Balluff is designed for reliable level monitoring in tanks and industrial applications. With a measuring range of up to 850 mm, it offers precise detection with 2% FS repeatability and linearity within ±8%. Installation is simple thanks to self-adhesive or screw mounting, allowing flush mounting on the tank’s outer wall, without direct contact with the fluid.

The compact and lightweight design (33 × 2 × 850 mm, 43 g) combined with the active surface in 3M VHB 5925, PET/PA housing, and TPU enclosure ensures robustness and durability. With an IP64 protection rating (IP40 on the connector), 4–8 VDC operating voltage, and 50 Hz switching frequency, it represents a versatile and efficient solution for continuous level detection applications under standard conditions.
