The BI8-M18-2APS8X2-H1141 inductive safety sensors from Turck Banner detect metallic objects without contact or wear, utilizing a high-frequency AC electromagnetic field that interacts with the target. Thanks to the exclusive uprox sensor coil concept, they guarantee maximum switching distance with a factor of 1 for all metals.
