Our BLG optical grids are ideal for demanding applications in large sectors, for part counting, for detecting stacking heights (e.g., of paper), or for measuring pallet heights. They are therefore superior to classic thru-beam photoelectric sensors, which typically only provide point-based interrogation. Balluff optical grids feature a switched output – for example, for counting – and an analog output for measurement operations. They are available in various lengths, suitable even for large objects with a working distance of up to 2.1 m, ideal for counting due to short reaction times, feature a robust metal housing, invisible infrared light, switched output (PNP) and analog output (0…10 V), simple connection, user-friendly installation without additional devices, and are immediately ready for use – no parameterization required.
