The BMF 235K-PS-C-2A-SA95-S75-003 (BMF00CA) from Balluff is an inductive magnetic field sensor specifically designed for installation in T-slots, offering high reliability in contactless piston position detection.
The sensor can be mounted directly in the slot, with solid and exemplary fastening, and is flush-mountable, making it ideal even for applications with space limitations. Its compact and short design allows for extremely flexible use, easily adapting to various types of machinery.
Thanks to Balluff technology, the sensor detects the piston position through the cylinder wall, without direct contact, and can be used on cylinders, grippers, and with magnets of varying strengths, both strong and weak.
The integration of highly visible LEDs allows for monitoring the switching status even from a distance, improving usability and safety.
For more demanding industrial environments, variants with metal housings are available, ideal in the presence of welding spatter, sparks, or mechanical stress, as well as versions with magnetic field-sensitive electronics, designed to withstand strong electromagnetic interference, such as those generated in high-current welding systems.
