Optoelectronic distance sensors such as the BOD 23K-LI01-S4 from Balluff support you in positioning, material flow control, or fill level monitoring, as well as in many other applications. In the automotive industry, industrial and logistics automation, or the steel industry, you can achieve significant productivity increases everywhere through reliable distance measurement by specifically avoiding errors. For this purpose, different measuring ranges are available, partially adjustable from 20 mm to 20 m, and variants with and without background suppression.
Our sensors, based on the triangulation principle or Time-of-Flight (TOF) technology, are contactless and therefore wear-free, utilizing red light or lasers. They are housed in durable plastic or metal casings and feature current and voltage outputs as well as serial digital or IO-Link interfaces. Our optoelectronic distance sensors are available with IP65/67 and IP69K protection ratings, making them suitable even for harsh environments, ideal for measuring and monitoring distances in short, medium, and long measuring ranges.
Additional switching outputs with adjustable switching points are available for almost all products, with Teach-in on the sensor via Teach input or particularly conveniently via IO-Link, UL approval, and optional Ecolab certifications, available upon request with diagnostic and Condition Monitoring functions.
