The BOH DK-R018-002-01-S49F optical sensor head from Balluff offers a compact, precise, and perfectly integrable detection solution for applications with limited space. Part of the Micromote line, this device combines a cuboid design with a 90° mounting bracket, high environmental resistance (IP67), and high-quality materials such as natural anodized aluminum, PUR, and glass for the active surface.
Thanks to its energetic diffuse optical principle and red microSPOT-LED light (650 nm), the sensor detects objects as small as 0.2 mm with a spot size of Ø 10 mm at 50 mm and a maximum beam angle of 3.5°, ensuring precise and localized measurements. The compact structure (13.5 x 3 x 13 mm) made of anodized aluminum, with a glass surface and a 1 m PUR cable with an M8x1 connector, integrates easily even in confined spaces. The IP67 protection rating and 3.5…60 mm operating range ensure reliability even in harsh industrial environments.
