The ESS 076 smart current sensor (code 07600.2-00) is a device from Stego designed for monitoring electrical consumption in industrial applications. Thanks to contactless measurement technology, it can detect AC currents up to 100 A on energized lines, without interrupting the circuit or requiring invasive interventions on the system.
The sensor acquires and processes measurement data internally, making useful information available for energy monitoring and condition monitoring via an IO-Link interface or a 4-20 mA analog output. This dual communication mode facilitates its integration into both modern automation systems and applications requiring traditional analog signals.
The compact structure, connection via an M12 4-pin connector, and mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail allow for quick installation inside electrical cabinets and distribution systems. Integrated protections against reverse polarity, short circuit, and overvoltage help ensure operational reliability, while the wide temperature range of -40 °C to +70 °C supports its use in demanding industrial environments.
