The LA2-S Series from Senpum includes ultra-compact through-beam laser sensors designed for non-contact detection of small objects in industrial automation applications.

The M6 threaded body allows direct mounting and facilitates installation even in confined spaces.

The range allows for detecting objects with minimum dimensions down to 0.5 mm and includes versions with detection distances of 500 mm, 1000 mm, and up to 10 m, depending on the model.

Senpum suggests applications such as part passage detection, integrated circuit pin inspection, and screw presence or absence verification.

Available with NPN or PNP output and Dark-ON or Light-ON modes, LA2-S sensors are powered by 12–24 V DC and offer a maximum response time of 1 ms.

The stainless steel body and IP64 protection rating support their use within industrial automation machinery and systems.
