LM | Precision Measurement Photoelectric Sensors | Senpum
The LM Series from Senpum includes CMOS laser displacement sensors designed for non-contact measurements of distance, position, and dimensional variations in industrial automation applications.
The system automatically adjusts the laser based on the reflectivity and surface characteristics of the target, supporting stable measurement even with different surfaces.
The range includes models with reference distances from 30 to 600 mm and overall measurement ranges from 20 up to 1000 mm, with repeatability varying from 1 µm to 50 µm depending on the model.
The sensor uses a 658 nm red laser and offers selectable sampling times up to 0.33 ms, allowing for use in dimensional and process controls.
Applications indicated by Senpum include material height monitoring, component height control, and counting and stacking applications.
The sensor heads feature an IP67 protection rating and can be combined with controllers with NPN, PNP, or NPN/PNP output.
The system also supports, via dedicated communication units, EtherCAT, PROFINET, Ethernet TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, and RS-232C/RS-485 protocols, facilitating integration into industrial automation and control systems.
