pms-35/CF/A1 | Ultrasonic Sensor | Microsonic
The pms-35/CF/A1 ultrasonic sensors by Microsonic are designed following the strict rules of the EHEDG standard.
Two versions of this sensor are available:
- D12 with shaft connection.
- D12 with bayonet connection.
The D12 version with shaft connection can be mounted with an accessory called BF-pms/A1 that allows for a hygienic connection, or with a specific retaining clip.
The innovative stainless steel housing design ensures that pms sensors do not present any horizontal surfaces in any possible installation. Even when using the sensor in a hygienic environment to measure a level while facing down, the back of the pms always maintains an angle of ≥ 3°.
Cleaning liquids are easily drained from the housing.
The stainless steel surface of the housing has roughness peaks of less than 0.8 µm, with no crevices or machining burrs.
Beyond the design, using the right materials is crucial.
The ultrasonic transducer is protected by a PTFE foil and can withstand chemically aggressive cleaning agents and disinfectants.
The pms is highly robust and is ECOLAB certified.
