The SPP series cable grommet supports (inserts) allow for the housing of a cable from 2 to 17 mm in diameter within the DES series splittable frames.
To ensure fluid-tightness and strain relief for all splittable frames (cable entry plates) as well as splittable cable glands, cable grommet supports, also known as cable inserts, are used.
The system patented by Detas allows for the installation of the cable grommet support (insert) in two ways: by snapping it in or sliding it in. In both cases, the double guide at the base of the insert is utilized, providing stability and holding force to the cable grommet support (insert) even with the cable or cables mounted inside it.
The elastomeric material used for production ensures ideal elasticity. They are available in gray and black, and in both cases, they are self-extinguishing according to UL94 V0.
