EL1008 | Cabling and Networking | Beckhoff
EL1008 is a Beckhoff EtherCAT terminal designed for the acquisition of 8 digital inputs at 24 V DC in industrial automation systems. The module detects binary signals from the field level and transmits them, in an electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation unit, supporting reliable signal management within the control cabinet.
Each channel features status indication via LED, facilitating diagnostics and control activities during installation, maintenance, and commissioning. The integrated 3 ms input filter helps reduce the effects of mechanical contact bounce, improving the stability of digital signal readings.
The 1-wire connection technology, compact format, and IP20 protection rating allow for integration into automation cabinets. With an operating temperature of -25…+60 °C, electrical isolation up to 500 V, and CE, UL, ATEX, IECEx, DNV, and cFMus compliance, the terminal represents a reliable solution for standard industrial applications and environments with specific requirements.
